Carolyn grew up climbing trees in Pennsylvania and skiing and hiking in Colorado. She first learned to love the wilderness on a backpacking trip when she was in high school and since then she has been driven by the search for adventure. This yearning has led her to climb many of the Colorado 14ers, live in the Czech Republic teaching English at a summer camp, and climb, bike, or raft whenever possible. She has found a sense of self and accomplishment in many of these moments, seeking to challenge those around her to do the same. With a degree in Environmental studies from Western State Colorado University, Carolyn hopes to one day open a sheep farm where she can practice sustainable living while educating the local communities. During her off shifts, Carolyn is found skiing or mountain biking and eating burritos.
