Eric J

Eric was born in New York, NY and lived most of his life in the suburbs of New Jersey. The lack of wilderness areas near the city gave him great appreciation for any time spent outdoors.

Eric graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in film production from Brooklyn College and shortly afterwards moved to Palestine, working for several NGO’s as a journalist and English test proctor.

After returning to the states, several years were spent working in IT and Media for a biotech company until Eric realized this was not the life for him. The field of wilderness therapy was introduced to Eric through a TV show and the seed was planted. A few months later, and a long cross country drive saw Eric depositing himself in Utah where he is now doing what he loves.

When Eric is not working, he enjoys yoga, DJing and trail running.
