Alaina B

Alaina was raised near Seattle, Washington where she grew to love the outdoors from a young age. She developed a love for community and became a camp counselor for kids with muscular dystrophy starting in high school. After graduating with her Associates degree in high school, she transferred to BYU-Idaho and received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology.

After she graduated, she received an invitation to serve in the Peace Corps as a volunteer. She then served in the country of Albania for two years as a health education volunteer working in schools. During her service she worked with youth to build a laboratory and facilitate a yoga group. After the Peace Corps, she became a yoga teacher.

She then combined her love of the outdoors, health, and working with youth to come to Elements Wilderness. She is passionate about working with youth to create a more sustainable world.

In her free time, you can find Alaina doing yoga, running, listening to music, cooking and hanging out with friends.
