Arden was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. During the long summer days of his childhood, he spent hours at the neighborhood creek catching mudbugs and salamanders with his brother. Those days of freedom built the foundation for Arden’s love of the outdoors. He made the jump from the creeks of the south to the mountains of the west as a teenager and hasn’t looked back since. Nowadays, Arden spends most of the year in school at Montana State University where he is studying to earn a bachelors degree in biology. During the summers, he descends to the deserts of Utah and works with Elements as a field mentor.
During his time off, you’ll find Arden reading at the park or hiking in the mountains, working to bring the lessons he has learned in the wilderness back into his life outside of Elements.
