Brad Reed, EMT-I

Brad is retired from a nearly 40-year career in the mining industry, and has been an EMT-I for 21 years. Brad is a great example of civic engagement and volunteerism. He was a member of a Mine Rescue Team which responded to mine disasters around the western United States. He also served on a local Fire Department for 20 years. Additionally, Brad has been involved with Emery County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue team for more than 25 years with 10 of those years serving as Captain and currently serving as the Medical Training Officer. Brad enjoys helping people, and he continues to do so through his volunteer work and through the care he shows to Traverse’s clients.

Brad has lived in Emery County since 1975. He and his wife of 38 years have three children and six grandchildren. Brad and his family love the outdoors and enjoy camping, fishing, and hiking.
