Bri grew up in and around the Portland, OR area where the waterfalls are abundant, and the volcanoes are enticing. In 2017, she started reaching the summits of mountains such as Mount Saint Helens, Mount Adams and South Sister, and camping every weekend before she left for college in Bellingham, WA. She attended Western Washington University where she majored in Therapeutic Recreation and minored in Psychology. While in college, Bri traveled to Alaska for a summer and spent a couple months in Nepal trekking through the Himalayas. She picked up climbing and backcountry skiing while in school while still maintaining her time trail running, hiking and backpacking.
In 2019, Bri was looking to complete an internship in the field of wilderness therapy and stumbled across Elements. She spent a summer with us and then returned to school to complete her degree before she returned back to Elements.
In her off time, you can find Bri roaming around the Wasatch Front trail running, mountain biking, climbing, skiing, and paddle boarding or planning her next trip to an inspiring location.
