Caroline W

Growing up, Caroline spent most of her time exploring the White Mountains in New Hampshire, the coast of Maine, and her backyard in Connecticut. Moving around through childhood and traveling frequently, Caroline developed a strong interest in adventure and discovery. She deeply enjoys meeting new people, learning about their experiences, and being a part of strong communities.

In high school, Caroline participated in a Wilderness Ventures summer program in Jackson Hole, WY and fell in love with the mountains, backpacking, climbing, and navigation. This experience inspired her to pursue opportunities that allow her to continue to develop these skills and work outside.

Earning a degree in Psychology at Barnard College, she learned about the strong connection between mental and physical health. As a result, she was intrigued by wilderness therapy and its aim to strengthen this connection. She is grateful to be able to learn and teach others about the therapeutic effects of the outdoors.
