Born in Durango, Colorado, Dylan has always felt a strong connection to the outdoors. As a child, he spent ample amounts of time in the Utah desert and elsewhere with his family. These experiences had a major impact on his life and career choices.
After graduating from State University of New York at Oswego in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Philosophy, and Cognitive Science, he sought to make a difference in the lives of others while also living a lifestyle he was passionate about. This led him to teach at an outdoor science school in California for two years, as well as work at an outdoor adventure program for adolescents with learning disabilities in Wyoming. Having experienced deep satisfaction and personal growth in these jobs, Dylan came to Elements in November 2017.
In his free time, Dylan enjoys rock climbing, exploring canyons, music, dogs, and travel.
