KJ was raised in Spanish Fork, Utah. A proud native Utahn, he spent his entire life canyoneering, hunting, river running, and exploring all he could in his favorite place to be: the wilderness.

Opting out of the traditional college and career path, he’s done it all from truck driving to 4×4 guiding, ski instruction and snow making, and as a fleet mechanic. He’s found through the years that outdoors is the only real place things make sense where he can focus on the pure passion and opportunity that come with each new day.

KJ loves climbing, mostly crack climbing, as it comes naturally with the time he’s spent down in Moab, UT. Ask him about his many hijinks duck hunting or on the river going through class 5 white water, as he has many stories to tell. All this has made him thrilled to help people find joy in the wonder of the outside world. He is excited about this next step in his career where he can share his passions with the world.
