LilaLila G

Lila grew up in Switzerland, Illinois, and Puerto Rico. Wherever she has found herself she has enjoyed the outdoors and whatever the local environment has to offer. Prior to moving to Utah, Lila lived in central New York. While there, Lila earned her BA in psychology from Wells College. During college, Lila played intercollegiate soccer and was captain of the lacrosse team. She was active on the student diversity committee, created events to raise awareness of mental health issues, and wrote her senior thesis on stereotyping.

Since 2005, Lila has been working with teens in wilderness therapy. Through these experiences she has learned different ways of supporting teenagers while they decide how to live their lives. After all these years Lila still enjoys the wilderness and the teens she works with.

Lila is married and has recently adopted 3 teenagers out of foster care. When she is not at work, she is usually busy taking care of her children and tackling all the challenges of being a mother of teenagers.  They currently live in Cedar City.
