Ryan grew up in Kaysville Utah, where he discovered his love of the outdoors backpacking the Wind River Range with my family. He moved to Southern California when he was twenty where he worked as a Leader at REI. Here, Ryan discovered his true passion of rock climbing and the beautiful community that came with this newfound passion. During those eight years, Ryan started to truly discover the healing power of nature and community in nature.
Motivated by change, challenging himself in new ways, and discovering new places and communities, Ryan decided to move back to Utah; being closer to family was an added bonus. When he first came across Elements and learned what the company does to help people he was immediately intrigued. Ryan wanted to work for a company that inspired such growth both in its staff and clients. Ryan wants to help others see what healing wilderness really has to offer.
In his free time, you will find him in nature – rock climbing (all styles of it), backpacking (with family, friends or solo), hiking, practicing yoga, and trail running. Some other things that bring Ryan happiness and peace are farmers markets, cooking, podcasts, audio books, and board games (settlers of catan).
