Tor TTor - Field Mentor

Born in Washington, D.C.,  Tor is a proud graduate of DC Public Schools.  After high school, Tor spent a year studying Sustainable Living and Ayurvedic Medicine at the Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa. Tor then moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, enrolling at St. John’s College and studying zen at the Upaya and Mountain Cloud Zen Centers. At St. John’s, Tor mentored and supervised students as a Resident Advisor. Tor also tutored underclassmen in logic, writing, and composition. Tor graduated in 2013 with a double-major in Philosophy and the History of Science and Mathematics, and a double-minor in Comparative Literature and Classics. After college, Tor taught English in Zhengzhou, China. Tor joined Elements in September, 2015. In his off-shift you can find him at the Salt Lake City Library, the Tracy Aviary, rock climbing, deciding whether or not to drink coffee this morning (and if so, how much?),  overthinking things, getting on with it, or babbling on and on and on.
