Xander H

Xander was born and raised in the Utah mountains and spends almost all of his free time mountain biking, rock climbing, trail running and skiing in them.

After some world travel, he got his undergraduate degree from Utah State University in Marketing and was set up for a plush career in the sciences working for Thermo Fisher Scientific. After a year in the corporate world, he needed out and found refuge teaching skiing to people with disabilities for Common Ground in Logan, UT. With the seasonal nature of skiing in Utah, he needed a more permanent workplace and found that with Elements.

One of the models that Elements uses is Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Xander has found and immense love and passion for learning and implementing this model. He plans to specialize in DBT and pursue a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology to further push his abilities and knowledge in order to help people care for their mental health.
