Hallie D

Hallie was born and raised in State College, Pennsylvania. Summers of her youth were spent at Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center, where her love for the outdoors and environmental education began. Hallie continued her passion by leading for AURORA, The Pennsylvania State University Outdoor Orientation Program, for four summers. It was there that she grew a desire to utilize the wilderness experience to provoke introspection.

While in college, Hallie spent over a year working for Venture Outdoors, a non-profit outdoor education organization in Pittsburgh, PA. After graduating with an Interior Architecture and Design degree from Chatham University in May, Hallie worked for the Student Conservation Association with the PA Outdoor Corps where she led youth on conservation projects around the western side of the state. Hallie decided to follow her passion for the outdoor experience and what it can do for people, leading her to opportunities in wilderness therapy and to Elements.

In her off time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and cuddling her dog, Baby.
