Katie is from Colorado. She completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition and a Master’s of Science in Exercise Science before stumbling across Elements. After graduate school, Katie decided to reconnect with herself and dove head long into yoga. During her 200-hr YTT, Katie learned about wilderness therapy and found clarity in the power of self-expression in the wilderness. Katie enjoyed backpacking, hiking, and camping throughout her life and found these challenging experiences to empower her most. She wants to continue experiencing this type of growth while holding space for others to grow into their own power.
On her off-shifts, she is found exploring movement on her yoga mat, traversing wilderness areas with her dog, traveling to new and old places, or baking and cooking.
