Thomas was raised in Colorado. He has spent his professional and private life exploring and connecting to the southwestern United States. At an early age, Thomas became aware of the transformational power of the wilderness. Thomas discovered the wonderful field of wilderness therapy while studying at Western Colorado University. There he would learn to combine his love of nature with his desire to help others. With continued studies at The Earth Bound Institute, such as Wilderness Therapy and Wilderness survival, Thomas soon found himself passionate about the
field that is wilderness therapy. He has been in the industry since 2012. When Thomas is not in the field, he enjoys world travel, skiing, rock climbing, and getting his hands dirty with clay. Thomas also enjoys creating sculpture using the raw materials from the natural word.
